Getting your message delivered

In the latest issue of DMnews, Sharon Neuenfeldt reports “studies show that 70% of the US population prefers direct mail over e-mail or phone calls”

E-mail and phone has always been a “personal media.” Something that people have to keep in contact with their friends and family. Mail, since it’s inception has been utilized for advertising, and is considered less invasive.

When dealing with consumers that don’t know you, it is much more effective to send your marketing message by mail. You come accross as less invasive and will more likely get your message read.
